Dr Muj Husain

Dr Muj Husain is a consultant liaison psychiatrist working in areas where mind and body illnesses overlap or co-exist at King’s College Hospital and at the Maudsley. He also works at the Chronic Fatigue and Persistent Physical Symptoms Unit at the Maudsley as consultant for a research and service development program for people experiencing medically unexplained physical symptoms.

Muj has an interest in medical education and policy. He is an appointed member of the General Medical Council’s Education and Training Board. Before becoming a consultant, he was Chair of the Psychiatric Trainees’ Committee (PTC) at the RCPsych, Chair of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges’ Trainee Doctors’ Group (ATDG) and is a graduate of the NHS Medical Director’s Clinical Fellowship Scheme.
